| St. Francis Foundation is
a secondary care facility offering extended residential treatment to a
mixed population of 15 men and women. Our highly structured,
long-term setting offers the recovering individual an opportunity to
change his or her life and the time needed to make the necessary
changes. Clients learn new coping methods and can address their
needs within a peer group of individuals who share similar
problems. This provides a supportive atmosphere in which to make
the changes necessary for a life without the use of chemicals. |

Our Program
|
Completion of our extended treatment program takes seven (7) to nine (9)
months, depending on the needs of the individual, and includes
counseling and treatment by a caring and experienced team of Board
Certified Substance Abuse Counselors and trained paraprofessionals who
orient the client into a 12 Step based lifestyle. Clients work
and/or go to school, pay their way, take care of their responsibilities,
cook meals, keep their home (St. Francis) clean and well-maintained,
take time for recreation, attend 12 Step meetings, save money, and
participate fully in their own treatment process. The facility is
operated as a large family with a home-like atmosphere. Aftercare
is available for those former clients who qualify. |
